The Role:
The Business Management VP will take a lead role in the team that supports the CEO and Regional Senior Business Manager of the Private Bank in EMEA.  The CEO Business Management team works closely with the various market teams across EMEA including Switzerland, Emerging Markets, Middle East, France, Italy, Spain, UK & Nordics and Germany. The team also liaises with internal teams within the Private Bank and cross-LOB including Finance, Marketing, Events, Business Controls, Risk, Legal, Compliance, Strategic Programs Group, Regulatory Affairs and HR.
 
The job opening is for a VP located in London. The successful applicant will be involved in all aspects of the role.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Provide analytics and strategic analysis to senior management about the state of the business and future plans for growth
  • Work closely with the finance team to track progress against priorities, investment flows, etc.
  • Assist with planning and execution of ad hoc large-scale projects across the business
  • Assist with strategic business improvement and market expansion projects
  • Prepare analysis and presentation materials for senior management forums
  • Partner closely with Market teams on region-wide initiatives and reporting
Qualifications:
  • Two-year commitment to the team
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
  • Flexibility to work as part of a team and as individual contributor
  • Motivated and proactive mindset
  • Organized and good time management skills
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Financial work experience, preferably within Private Banking
  • Language skills – fluency in English required, additional languages beneficial
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
