As an experienced Infrastructure Engineering professional, you'll be making decisions of a global, strategic nature that impact our customers, clients, and businesses around the globe.  Your expertise in analyzing complex data systems, anticipating problems, and finding ways to mitigate risk, will be key in leading a high performing team to successfully design and navigate the program roadmap.  By incorporating your knowledge of business drivers, you will affect change and lead development of innovative improvements and world-class practices.  Your team will be responsible for driving results, and implementing multiple, complex programs that span the breadth of the business, and they’ll look to you to provide the technical leadership to move them forward.  And while you will be part of a tight-knit team that shares your passion for technology, you’ll also gain access the best minds in the business—both as part of the JPMorgan Chase & Co. global technology community, and through our partnerships with some of the most important tech firms in the world.
This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:
  • Advanced knowledge in the following key areas: Hardware Architecture (performance testing, monitoring, operations), Hardware Benchmarking (Agile, program managements, network management), Design (compliance, security), Network Engineering (planning, provision)
  • Advanced understanding of business technology drivers and their impact on architecture design, performance and monitoring, best practices and JPMC policies
  • Proficient in multiple infrastructure technologies
  • Demonstrated ability to conceptualize, launch and deliver multiple IT projects on time and within budget
  • Ability to articulate to more experienced management a technical strategy in clear, concise, understandable terms
  • Partner with and facilitate between the Application Development, Risk and Control teams to determine the best security solution for a specific application based on the risk profile and data protection requirements as well as the technical capabilities and limitations of the standard approved security tools
  • Represent the Core Foundation Services team in Firm wide, local and regional vulnerability and data protection committees as well as working groups, etc
  • Pre-deployment preparations, testing and deployment of cyber related products including encryption and access control services
  • Manage, maintain and trouble shoot Thales and Gemalto infrastructure
  • Create policies and write security rules based on rule definitions and specific requirements
  • Work with development, technology and security monitoring teams to facilitate  the encryption of sensitive and PII data,  to deploy access controls, policies and configure security monitoring reports
  • Manage access rights
  • Manage certificates and keys
Candidates Must Have Prior Experience Working With Business In The Data Security Space.  The Ideal Candidate Will Have The Ability To Perform Independently As Well As Work Effectively With a Team And Peers, Providing Timely Delivery And Follow Through In a High Paced Environment.  The Successful Candidate Should Also Possess The Following Attributes
  • 7+ years hands-on experience with data security, encryption, monitoring, access control, and incident management tools
  • Hands on experience/working knowledge with Unix/Linux, Wintel, Storage Technologies and Database administration functions and tools
  • Scripting and automation experience
  • Experience with Vormetric Data Security Manager, policy/rule creation, management and key management
  • Experience with Gemalto Keysecures, and Luna HSM
  • Experience with large enterprise technology projects
  • Strong understanding of PCI DSS compliance
  • Undergraduate or advanced degree in computer Science, Statistics, Math, Engineering or another quantitative discipline
  • Professional Security Certification (e.g. CISSP) desired but not required
