The CIB Finance & Business Management (F&BM) group is organized to support and drive the strategic and financial objectives of the business and ensure a sound control environment.

 
Business and Role Description:
 

The CIB GCB & TS Coverage F&BM team acts as a trusted advisor and consultant to senior coverage executives to manage and optimize business performance.  The team partners with management to drive business strategy through projects and analyses focused on drivers of growth and efficiency, such as strategic client targeting, new business origination, balance sheet optimization, cross-border expansion, product cross-sell, and coverage productivity.  In addition, the team helps establish, execute, and maintain key business governance initiatives, such as client account planning, global TS new business and revenue target-setting, business reviews and management information, and the control framework for TS new deal origination.  The team also handles ad hoc special projects (e.g. regulatory priorities) and delivers compliance and audit support. 

 

Business Management needs highly-motivated creative thinkers who can leverage their analytical capabilities to provide strategic guidance to business partners and solve a wide variety of evolving business issues and problems. 

 

The NA Treasury Services Corporate Sales team manages the complex cash management needs of a portfolio of ~500 sophisticated multinational corporations headquartered in the U.S. and ~90 broker dealer, exchange, clearinghouse and bank clients.


 Responsibilities:

 Support NA TS Sales groups in managing the business including:


 TEAM GOVERNANCE & STRATEGY

  • Build working relationships with the TS Sales teams
  • Assist with industry reviews, including pipeline deep dives
  • Analyze key revenue drivers and trends
  • Assist with analysis for client targeting and account planning
  • Review coverage loading and identify outliers
  • Assist with annual new sales, headcount and expense planning

 SALES AND REVENUE ANALYSIS, TRENDS & INFORMATION

  • Create the weekly news sales report used to monitor business performance
  • Manage sales initiative tracking and report outs
  • Drive best in class pipeline management and practices
  • Assist with scorecard administration and communication including:
    • Due diligence reviews
    • Issue investigation and resolution
    • Predictive analysis
    • Talent management/review support
  • Provide value add team information and analysis including:
    • Monthly revenue trends, drivers and advancers/decliners
    • Headcount trends, org summaries, forward looking forecasts
    • Other ad hoc projects
PARTNER MANAGEMENT
  • Develop working partnerships with business and functional partners necessary to execute the coverage teams’ agenda including:
    • TS Global Sales teams
    • Product and GCB Business Management teams  
    • TS Product
    • Functional groups - Finance, HR, Marketing/Events, Billing/Finance

  • Knowledge of the bank's financial sales tracking systems
  • 2+ years of experience in a finance revenue and/or analytical role
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite is required
