The Role

The Legal Entity Reporting Manager sits within the J.P.Morgan Bank Luxembourg S.A. (JPMBL) Finance team. It is in the context of the development of the Finance function to support the development of J.P. Morgan’s Luxembourg bank as a Significant Institution. It reports into the Senior Financial Officer. Key responsibilities of the role include:


  • Responsible for preparing all financial reports to Executive Committee and Board
  • Create/ maintain MIS for headquarter and (future) Branches (single and consolidated)
  • US GAAP consolidation of headquarter and (future) branches financials
  • Establishment of methods to aggregate data in order to meet recurring and other ad-hoc requests from the regulators and internal stakeholders
  • Contribute to ICAAP, ILAAP and Recovery Planning
  • Planning, forecasting, multi-year strategic financial planning, and variance analysis to ensure the business is run in an efficient and controlled manner, and tracking against budgets/ plans and key financial and regulatory ratios
  • Prepare analysis to show business impact of upcoming regulatory change
  • Ensuring appropriate controls and reconciliations are in place over all the data generated
  • Support other projects in the Luxembourg Finance department incl enhancement/ implementation of systems
  • Financial analysis and analytical review of revenues, costs, balance sheet
  • Intercompany expense control
  • P&L review during month-end process
  • Building and maintaining strong working relationships with stakeholders and partners in the different businesses (e.g., Treasury Services, Investor Services) and functions (e.g., Legal, Tax, Finance, Operations, Risk, etc.), including Line of Business Controllers

    • Communication – effectively communicate to peers, seniors, and regulators
    Candidate skills profile
    • Fluency in English
    • Qualified accountant (ACMA, ACCA, ACA) / MBA / Masters in Finance
