This role provides the opportunity to be part of our Agile team that works on the Wealth Management Connect platform for the JPMS line of business. We are enhancing current modules within the Connect platform and creating new components to serve our brokerage business which are unique to the platform. The team is a cross-functional team responsible for the end-to-end, full stack development of the application. While each team member has a primary skill set, they are also expected to learn and contribute to areas outside of their primary skill set. The team is highly collaborative and values continuous improvement and open communication
This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:
• Expertise in application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines
• Advanced knowledge of architecture, design and business processes
• Keen understanding of financial control and budget management
• Ability to work collaboratively in teams and develop meaningful relationships to achieve common goals
• Proficiency in Core Java (version 8) with knowledge of Java 1.8 features
• Strong experience developing Web based applications preferably in leading frameworks with as Spring Book
• Hands on experience with REST, Spring, Hibernate, Tomcat/WebLogic, GIT
• Desirable but not essential: Cloud Foundry or AWS, MicroServices, SOA, MQ/JMS, Jenkins; Continuous Integration/Deployment
