Asia Pacific Regional Manager - Critical Infrastructure Operations
The Global Service Operations (GSO) organization plays a critical role in providing technology operations for all Infrastructure Services. The Critical Infrastructure Operations team within GSO was created to provide dedicated, high quality, end to end Operations for all Critical Infrastructure Services, including: Directories, Authentication Services, DDI, Configuration Management and Encryption / Key Management Services.
This position is responsible for leading the Critical Infrastructure Operations team within the Asia Pacific region.  Primary focus for this role is to provide APAC leadership across all Critical Infrastructure technical disciplines, mentor a high performance team culture with focus on providing industry-leading technical operations fundamentals, driving service improvement and automation.  This position is also responsible for building / maintaining effective relationships with Asia Pacific leadership, business lines and partner technical organizations. 
The ideal candidate is a technical manager with extensive Infrastructure management experience, technical proficiency in common infrastructure platforms and strong leadership experience.  GSO is currently transforming into an SRE organization – the candidate must have DevOps / SRE experience and have the ability to help facilitate this change.

§ Technical Depth: Deep experience and proficiency across the full range of Infrastructure technologies and infrastructure development areas. Hands-on approach and detail orientation to leading global development initiatives.  
§ Execution Orientation: Capable of executing short-term (tactical) and long term (strategic) plans. Setting clear and measurable performance objectives and monitoring progress rigorously, planning ahead, and linking action to business priorities.
§ Driving Change: Translating vision into actionable, quantitative plans. Setting clear and measurable performance objectives and monitoring progress rigorously, planning ahead, and linking action to business priorities. Being open to new ways of doing things, able to adapt words and practices to new personalized contexts and leveraging change. Makes timely decisions when a quick response is required and a number of possible alternatives are available.
§ Developing & Leveraging Relationships: Ability to work in a fluid environment, that is fast paced and rapidly changing/evolving. Communicate key metrics and issues to JPM constituents, including business and technology leaders. A record of building high trusted relationships with business and IT leaders. Proven collaborative approach, openly sharing information and receptive to the ideas of others. Creating and cultivating networks of people across a complex organization.
§ Effective Communication and Decision Making: Outstanding communication and influencing skills. Being highly articulate and able to convey important messages in a clear and compelling manner.


  • Minimum 10 years IT Management experience of enterprise-wide infrastructure teams in large-scale,  global organizations with mission-critical requirements
  • Minimum 5 years management experience in Infrastructure Development / DevOps / SRE
  • Extensive demonstrable knowledge in Active Directory, LDAP, or BoKs
  • Working knowledge of common infrastructure technologies, including: Networking, SAN / NAS, Encryption, Configuration Management platforms, web, etc.
  • Working knowledge of Shell scripting, Pearl or Python
  • Experience and detailed knowledge of Agile, DevOps and SRE methodologies
  • Demonstrable knowledge in IT risk methodologies and regulatory requirements
  • Proven track record of driving service improvements, efficiency and operational excellence
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.  Must have ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization and technical capabilities
  • Financial Services IT experience preferred
  • Hands-on Development / Scripting background preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
