The Wealth Management (WM) Securities Operations Project team is tasked with leading transformational projects impacting Operations teams, internal business partners and our clients.  The core projects supported by this team pertain to building efficiency within the Operations, reducing risk across the business, and creating a fully-integrated digital experience for clients regarding Corporate Actions impacting their assets.  The Securities Operations Project team partners closely with the business and technology teams – including senior management and front office leaders.
 
Members of the team possess strengths in process re-engineering, project management, problem solving, effective communication, and subject matter knowledge. The position requires flexibility and the ability to quickly adapt within a dynamic environment. Candidates should have outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent written and oral communication skills, strong leadership capabilities, and enthusiasm for fast-paced, iterative project management.
 
Responsibilities
  • Lead Workstreams across various business units and applications.
  • Coordinate the translation of functional requirements, business expectations, and client experience strategy into tangible solutions.
  • Performing and coordinating end to end testing, including developing test scenarios and script, organizing testing cycles, executing test activities, tracking/ reporting results and resolving issues.
  • Manage multiple initiatives in varying stages simultaneously.
  • Assess current business processes and determine improvements.
  • Influence business direction to shape long term strategy.
  • Work collaboratively with team members and cross functional groups.
 
 
  • Core organizational and task-oriented leadership
  • Managing project timelines, deliverables and peer group task accountability
  • Proven leader, with ability to define and drive strategy by working with Risk, Legal, Compliance, Technology and numerous business teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to be an integral team member on large-scale, complex global projects (planning, designing, documenting, communicating).
  • Able to prioritize alternative solutions, drive results and influence senior leaders in a cross functional, diverse environment.
  • Work independently
  • Effectively create presentations for management and peer groups and ability to communicate both verbally and written.
  • Ability to multi task, juggle multiple projects and deliver against tight deadlines.
  • Application of a Risk-based mindset
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited, high quality institution 
  • Strong PC skills (Microsoft Suite including PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Visio)
