The European analytics team is responsible for the generation, interpretation and evolution of measurements and insights for the European business and their merchants.


This role will be a senior contributor, who is able to identify evolving trends and explain the impacts to stakeholders both within the business and also to our merchant community.


This is an exciting role, with the opportunity to shape the future of payments, fintech and global eCommerce. You will be working with a leading player in the global eCommerce market, serving the biggest and best known brands on the web, as we undertake the next phase of growing our business.


Key Responsibilities

  • Defining the generation and production of key metrics and insights for both our business and our merchant’s business.
  • Ownership of impact assessment from regulatory changes, repricing and new product launches.
  • Co-owning pricing strategy with finance and business development teams.
  • Utilizing analytics tools (e.g., Tableau) to explore, expand and explain the performance of our business.
  • Seeking new opportunities to reconcile and review financial metrics both within the business and with external partners in order to identify opportunities and potential shortfalls.
  • Designing P&L reporting for Products owned by the regional team.
  • Prototyping client and internal reporting solutions, then support evolution to a full production environment.
  • Partnering closely with finance and field teams to deliver meaningful, actionable insights to key clients.
  • Liaising with key, strategic clients to help optimize all aspects of their payments and associated costs.
  • Communicating clearly and effectively with senior sponsors and stakeholders.
Essential Experience
  • Proven and demonstrable track record in the generation and use of financial models.
  • Experience and aptitude to deal and communicate with external customers.
  • 5+ years of experience with financial analytics; ideally within a Card, Payments, Bank, Fintech or eCommerce environment.
  • Formal financial qualification (e.g. ACA or ACCA).
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent


  • Ability to maintain development of multiple financial and analytics models.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work in a pressurized environment.
  • Highly structured and methodical in execution.
  • Clear, articulate and concise verbal and written communication.
  • Ability to distil and explain complex analytical models into clear and actionable insights.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize workloads, strong time-management skills.
