The Corporate Technology (CT) organization develops applications and provides technology support for corporate functions across JPMorgan Chase, including Global Finance, Corporate Treasury, Risk Management, Human Resources, Compliance, Legal, and all functions within the Corporate Administrative Office (CAO).  CT teams are aligned with corporate partners’ evolving technology needs and the firm’s ever expanding technology controls agenda.  A top CT priority is building scalable corporate systems.

Our Teams focus on:

  • Responding to the evolving regulatory environment and helping to meet the firm’s regulatory commitments by addressing internal and external commitments
  • Advancing the firm’s Roadmap programs -- Single Sourcing of data, Architecture Convergence, and Rationalization of Platforms
  • Adopting industry leading technologies to support best-in-class business capabilities for high performance computing and data storage solutions
  • Driving innovation across the firm's corporate technology portfolio, increasing efficiencies through process automation and Agile application development, with an emphasis on user experience and shorter development cycles
  • Investing in security and controls for cyber, access/entitlements uplift, data protection and application resiliency.

Global Security Technology (GST) within Corporate Technology (CT) provides strategic application development and production support to the firm-wide Global Security & Investigations.  This organization is responsible for all aspects of security including physical access, fraud, pre-employment processing, aviation, resilience, crisis management and other related areas.  The team will develop technology solution to maintain firm’s resiliency data, manage recovery strategy for business & technology processes, crisis management, real-time reporting and monitor metrics.

 

We are currently seeking an experienced 'Software Developer in Test'. The selected individual will be an integral in driving firm-wide initiative forward - modernizing technology delivery through “T-shaped” (multi-skilled) workforce, bringing cloud-minded design, Agile practices, tool standardization and automated delivery to our Enterprise Technology organization.

 

 

The role responsibilities include:

  • Leveraging and extending existing test automation tools and frameworks.
  • Support the agile ‘1 team’ philosophy and pick up stories / technical tasks to design, code and tests as needed.
  • Build and run test systems
  • Assist in planning for the development cycle
  • Analyze and resolve issues in relation to environments, data and batch processes
  • Adhere to team priorities and work well in an integrated developer/tester environment.
 Requirements for the role are:
  • 3+ years’ experience delivering test automation solutions in an agile environment using Selenium/Cucumber or equivalent
  • 3+ years coding (Java/SQL) and delivering high quality software
  • Ability to implement a fully automated CI/CD pipeline from code checking, testing to deployment using Jenkins
  • TDD/BDD experience
  • Any experience with performance testing and/or continuous deployment would be advantageous
  • Excellent communication skills
