The Reference Data Technology (RDT) organization supports regulatory and compliance requirements of the Compliance line of business in support of Global Know Your Customer (KYC). RDT is responsible for partnering with our clients on evolving business capabilities, improving end user experience with our solutions and services, and ensuring that we continue to provide continuous improvement on the systems that are relied upon across the firm. 
Global KYC Technology provides (a) global management, thought leadership and oversight for technology deliverables on KYC across the firm (b) development of technology capabilities to integrate related KYC and AML processes and (c) development of applications to support and optimize the Global KYC Enhanced Due Diligence processes.
As an Business Analyst, you will be required to interact with business partners to understand business requirements , create specification documents, work with the development team to convert requirements to technology solutions and help define the testing strategy.
Position Description
In the role of Global KYC Business Analyst, you will be responsible for the following:
  • Become subject matter expert of Global KYC applications and Global KYC common services and support tools
  • Work with architecture, business analysis and development resources across LOBs and Enterprise systems in delivery of  standards and centralized services to support  Global KYC data and processes
  • Work with the users to analyze data requirements and create the required documentation
  • Analyze business requirements and data across diverse systems in an effort to drive standardized solutions
  • Write complex SQL queries and help analyze (SQL and Excel vast amounts of data
  • Participate in project planning sessions with project managers and team members to analyze business requirements and outline the proposed IT solution.
  • identify/troubleshoot application code-related issues; and review and provide feedback to the final user documentation
  • 5-7 years experience working as an Business Analyst
  • BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent
  • Ability to collaborate and build strong partnerships across business, technology and operations as well as across regions  
  • Excellent analytical, communication, organizational and problem-solving skills coupled with a strong work ethic.
  • Detail oriented and strategic thinker
  • Ability to work independently, as well as part of a larger team
  • Hands-on working experience with databases queries and excel  
  • Knowledge of KYC and Client Reference Data a plus
