Payments and FX are key areas of business expansion and are critical drivers of the international growth agenda for the global TS business.
The Market Manager will be responsible for driving the execution of the Global Payments Strategy for the assigned client segments via a range of sales oriented activities.  This includes defining sales strategies, proactive client calling, collaborating with a wide array of internal stakeholders and functional partners, and developing solutions and pricing strategies for strategic and complex deals.  As such, the role involves working with Treasury Services Sales, Corporate Bankers, the JPM Investment Bank and other Treasury services product teams to ensure the appropriate coordination and growth of the defined segments.  This is an ideal role for someone who wants to work with a dynamic, markets-oriented product set and to own the growth of Corporate client segment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a strategy for growing Global Payments and FX business across existing and potential clients for Corporate Banking
  • Responsible for  identifying new business opportunities in rapidly evolving market  and meeting revenue targets
  • Support TS sales and relationship managers with deep product expertise  
  • Partner with TS sales & product management to create compelling segment specific value propositions and proposals that will also drive marketing efforts
  • Client engagement and presales activities - Coordinate with TS Sales, JPM Corporate Bankers and Investment Banking Sales for proactive and aggressive client calling; develop and present client relevant and thoughtful solution presentations aligned with segment strategy
  • Provide continuous feedback to Product teams of emerging trends in the market and client needs for product evolution
  • Coordinate and drive solutioning efforts for complex deals involving multiple products, regions or complexities associated to product delivery
  • Effectively represent product offering and value proposition in industry events such as AFP and JP Morgan organized events such as Client advisory forums
  • 10+ years of product sales or sales management experience
  • BA or BS from a top-tier program or equivalent graduate level education preferred
  • Strong knowledge of transaction banking, cross-border payments, FX and Channels
  • Strong product oriented sales experience and acumen.  Excellent client facing skills.
  • Ability to develop clear sales and marketing strategies and execute against them
  • Exceptional writing, verbal communication and client facing skills
  • Strong organizational skills including the ability to juggle multiple deals/opportunities simultaneously
  • Ability to develop collaborative relationships with key internal partners – sales, product management, client service, GCB, IB and implementation
