The Corporate Technology (CT) organization develops applications and provides technology support for corporate functions across JPMorgan Chase, including Global Finance, Corporate Treasury, Risk Management, Human Resources, Compliance, Legal, and all functions within the Corporate Administrative Office (CAO).
 
CT teams are aligned with corporate partners’ evolving technology needs and the firm’s ever expanding technology controls agenda.
 
Job Description:
 
The Risk Model Development (RQD) Machine Learning team helps modelers to develop  models and implements them into production.  Our activities include perform hands-on coding of production-ready Machine Learning scripts which implement Risk and Finance models, translate models into other programming languages, assist other teams in their coding, and create tools which validate data and which streamline the implementation process.
 
The Technical Project Manager for Fraud will lead the Fraud related projects, partnering with the business and technology to drive the successful delivery of programs and projects across the Fraud portfolio. 
 
Responsibilities:
  • Compile and report program and project status across Fraud.
  • Monitor and drive the timely update of program/project status
  • Maintain and evolve standard process to collect and report status on a consistent basis. 
  • Train users as necessary on tools and processes to streamline the overall delivery of status
  • Actively monitor program and project delivery, escalating issues when necessary
  • Utilize base status provided and summarize in different forms depending on audience of different status reports
  • Work across RQD to manage the book of work, including program hierarchy definition and the appropriate implementation of the book of work within the Clarity portfolio management system
  • Apply current taxonomies in Clarity to maintain the quality of program/project reporting
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders to achieve objectives of the function:
  • Liaise with other Project Management functions across Technology to share best practices
  • Liaise with Vendors regarding multiple Vendor hosted applications
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree required; Advanced degree preferred.
  • 7+ years Financial Services experience.
  • 7+ years Project Management experience with a history of successfully leading project teams.
  • Solid analytical skills and writing skills, to include solid experience in writing specifications.
  • Solid understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
  • Independent and self-motivated.
  • Experience in Agile Methodology and scrum principles
  • Hands on experience with project management tools such as JIRA, Confluence, MS Project, etc. 
     
Preferred Skills:
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and to work independently; agility in a fast-paced environment.
  • Previous hands on experience with application development  and support
  • Previous experience communicating with vendor and or vendor management.
  • Proven ability to collaborate and build strong partnerships with senior management across business, technology and operations as well as across regions and lines of business.
  • Track record of building relationships across global organizations and operating through influence.
  • Proven results and experience with achieving goals, developing and implementing new strategies.
