  • Job description
     
    Based in Mexico and reporting directly to Mexico HR Executive Director, the successful candidate will work within the Mexico office supporting the whole branch. As a member of this office you will partner closely with HR colleagues in the US and the LOB managers to provide HR solutions based on priorities in addition with the HRSD tem in Mexico. You will also support the day-to-day HR challenges by ensuring transactions are executed and offering assistance in a timely, efficient and productive manner.
    Additional for the HRBP role, this position supports the Diversity & Inclusion initiatives in the region.
     
    Main Responsibilities
     
    Training and development
    • Work with the L&D team for LATAM to define training needs according with LOB managers in Mexico.
    • Help
    •  identify local talent and build strong development & career plans together with LOB, coordinating the Country Talent Review
    • Coordination of Performance Management Process
    • Coordination of succession planning for Mexico.
    Recruitment and staffing
    • Coordinate the Recruiting efforts for the local office, identify the profile and set timing expectations with the clients
    • Coordinate On boarding processes
     
    Customer service
    • Advisor in HR local matters, for employees and former employees
    • Being the point of contact with the LOB's for HR issues
    • Regular interaction with the LOB's to understand the needs and propose HR support
    • Main contact for all line of business for Human Resources related to performance, talent &development, training
    • Employee relations responsibilities
    • Provide information about policies, working conditions, JPMC background company and position
    • Coordinate a mobility process,  have strong relation with Expat team.
     
    Project Management
    • Assign, design, follow up, implement and control HR projects
    • Consolidate the information to update the HR Policy Manual
    • Develop the strategy for Mexico.
    Compensation      
    • Understand the compensation culture in J.P. Morgan
    • Work with the HR head the comp information to support the market comp survey
    • Have a strong relation with the Compensation partners in NY.
    Diversity and Inclusion
    • Work with the Head of Diversity and Inclusion the diversity strategy for LATAM
    • Provide guidelines to the BRGs in the region
    • Have a strong relation with Diversity team in NY

  • Minimum 6 years of human resources experience required; financial services industry preferred
  • Ability to work collaboratively and develop strong working partnerships with clients and HR colleagues, and deal effectively with all levels of staff and management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills combined with the ability to work well under pressure is essential.
  • Able to prioritize and multi-task with a control mindset 
  • Creative and proactive approach to problem solving and execution.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency Excel required.
  • Strong presentation skills and proficiency PowerPoint required.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish with business related experience in negotiating in this language
  • Credentials: Degree in Business Administration, Psychology or equivalent
