Responsibilities in this role include:
  • Shared responsibility for driving requirements from a conceptual model through implementation and post – verification
  • Assist teams to ensure requirements are translated to specification by example, acceptance criteria and test plans
  • Translate business requirements into IT application and business process impacts
  • Develop and update functional use cases
  • Conduct business process modeling to explain business requirements to developers, quality assurance and cross-team members
  • Create artifacts such as user and system journeys, activity and sequence diagrams to help broaden the team’s understanding of functionality
  • Perform shadow sessions and interviews to gain a better understanding of business users day-to-day activities
  • Host and facilitate knowledge transfer sessions across Agile team
  • Drive solution delivery using Agile methodology
  • Embrace T-shaped employee model with a focus on analytical depth
  • Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems or related field of study or equivalent relevant experience in software development
  • 7 - 10 years of work experience or major in Information Technology
  • Experience in systems development life cycle as well as experience in a fast paced agile environment
  • Experience extracting business requirements via JAD sessions, interviews and specification by example
  • Experience creating Functional Specifications, Process Flows, Use Cases and other analysis deliverables
  • Experience creating and executing test scenarios and conditions.
  • Self-starting team player with excellent analytical, communication (both written and verbal) and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of lean and agile modeling techniques (use case diagrams, domain models, story mapping, etc.)
  • Experienced with user centered design concepts
  • Familiar with specification by example
  • Knowledge of acceptance test driven development
  • Experienced with product backlog refinement techniques
  • Proficient at developing a shared understanding across technology teams and business partners
  • 1-3 years, experience in Java, JavaScript and SQL technologies
  • Enterprise application development and design experience
  • Analysis and design document creation experience
  • Extensive experience conducting business requirement sessions and translating business requirements into technical specifications
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Knowledge of Agile tenants and techniques
  • Manages day to day individual workload, monitors milestones and critical dates to identify potential jeopardy of schedule and identify / mitigate risk
