The Portfolio Analysis Group (PAG) within Asset Management covers both Investment Management and Private Bank performance reporting. The Group consists of multiple global performance teams responsible for producing performance analytics for both products and clients including but not limited to rates of return, attribution analysis, risk analytics and reporting. In addition the Group is responsible for maintaining and reporting manager composite performance. The International Private Bank PAG team is a part of the global Portfolio Analysis Group and is responsible for portfolio analysis of Private Bank client portfolios and products across EMEA, Latin America and Asia.


Job Responsibility:
As member of the team, you will be a part of the process reengineering and project management team working across multiple projects. The Portfolio Analysis Group consists of individuals with varying levels of seniority which you will be expected to interact with on a daily basis. As a performance analyst you will be focusing on ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of performance initiatives.
You will be expected to conduct thorough analysis starting from the project scope and write requirements for performance measurements, understand the unique considerations for each situation, develop proposals to address the implementation.
  • Analyze the project requirements through meetings and discussions with the PAG, Business, Marketing, Legal and Compliance stakeholders
  • Engage with stakeholders in Operations and Technology to define scope of the project, timelines for deliverables, testing scope and testing effort
  • Logging of production defects in JIRA using AGILE Methodology for technology team, review sprint planning file and define priority order for the release
  • Supervise test scripts for projects in scope, testing in UAT and PROD for each release to ensure projects are delivered on time and with correct functionalities
  • Proactively work with BAU teams and the business to identify enhancements and opportunities within performance reporting tools
  • Partner with technology team on the daily stand up calls and fortnightly sprint planning call to discuss / track progress on open projects
  • Maintaining high-levels of project governance with the overall teams involved in the project planning, development and execution
  • Minimum qualifications
    • MBA/Post Graduation in relevant field
    • IMC / CFA / CIPM would be an advantage
  • Qualification Criteria
    • 9+ years of experience in financial services industry
  • Intellectual curiosity to evaluate portfolios
  • A good understanding of performance measurement techniques
  • Strong numeracy and statistical skills
  • Leadership skills to drive discussions
  • Relationship building with diverse groups and senior executives
  • Have an affinity or ability for systems thinking
  • Expertise with MS Office tools such as Word,Excel,Powerpoint and Access
  • Data presentation and interpretation skills
  • Control orientated and Risk awareness
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to effectively respond to customer needs
  • Strong analysis and problem solving skills required. Ability to facilitate and execute the analysis of data and technical issues
  • Strong organizational skills, including the ability to coordinate, prioritize, and manage multiple activities
  • Strong team player with a results-oriented focus and a highly disciplined approach to meeting objectives
  • Ability to work effectively with people at all levels of the organization
  • Experience of matrix-organizations across regions an advantage
  • Attention to detail and accuracy is necessity
  • Self-starter, shows strong self-initiative to meet deliverables and overcome issues
  • Able to take ownership and follow through with tasks until completion
  • Ability to work with ambiguity
