Department Summary:

Global Compliance Training is responsible for identifying, assessing and prioritizing training needs for the development, delivery and reporting of compliance training across the Firm. Compliance Training coverage includes both LOB and Country Compliance, as well as GFCC.

Asia Compliance Education is part of the Core Compliance Function and is responsible for the end to end management of the Regional Compliance continuing education program for Asia Pacific. This involves the development and roll out of training at a global, regional and country or line of business (LOB) specific level through working with subject matter experts, other compliance officers and the business.

Position Description:

This fixed term contract offers you the opportunity to join an established regional team as a Compliance Training Manager, focusing on both regional and global module development. The primary function will be to write content for online Compliance training modules, manage Asia regional training projects and support the team in meeting our stakeholder’s training needs.

Key Responsibilities: 

 

Write content for local, regional and global online modules. Training content is generally based around local regulations, country or business-specific policy requirements etc., and will entail detailed technical writing. 

  • Conducting the training needs analysis 
  • Creating framework documents 
  • Partnering with SMEs and other stakeholders in development of the training content 
  • Coordinating with local Compliance training teams for development and review 
  • Engaging training development vendor (internal or external) for online courses or build the courses if the experience exists, 
  • Coordinating BETA testing for regional online courses 
  • Working with SME’s and global review panels on audience identification and training sign off 
  • Working with the learning management system team and administrators on the integration and rollout of the training, and associated administrative functions 


Experience Required: 

  • 5-10 years experience in financial services or adult learning environment 
  • Proven experience in developing quality training materials for instructor-led and online training; and proven experience in content development for technical and (Compliance/Risk Management) policy driven content 
  • Experience in delivering and preparing training presentations via PowerPoint 
  • Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills, with ability to interact with personnel at all levels 
  • Working knowledge of learning management systems and SharePoint an advantage 
  • Strong project management skills 

Please note role can be based in either Sydney or Hong Kong and contract term is January 2018 to January 2019.
