Wholesale Lending Services (WLS) exists within the Commercial Bank and provides a broad array of syndicated and bi-lateral loan servicing support to the Firm’s Wholesale Lending Businesses. These functions include Loan Documentation Prep & Coordination, Credit Administration, Deal Closing/Funding, Credit Compliance Monitoring, Agent and Non-Agent Loan Servicing, Trade processing, and Collateral Perfection/ Management.
The Business Banking Credit Operations Leader will lead a team to provide best in class post approval and loan documentation activities to support our customers. He/she will be responsible to provide leadership and have accountability for team success to include ensuring a high level of productivity, high quality work product, timely and excellent customer service levels, risk management, and maintaining compliance with respect to Business Banking Credit Operations. This leader is responsible to ensure excellent service levels, a high level of communication, performance, production, and quality results of team. The Credit Ops Leader serves as a leader and expert to team, CDM's, CAO's, BRM's, Credit Coordinators and other partners. He/She is responsible for partnering with the market and others to support the channels efforts to improve the booking rates and speed to booking via proactive and timely communication and ongoing enhancement and execution of post approval initiatives.
Additional responsibilities include: Develop and implement best practices in loan operations related to post approval processes and procedures. Manage individual and team performance goals and expectations. Manage legal documentation, credit and compliance risk to the bank to include responsibility for ensuring satisfactory audits and reviews internally and externally. Responsible for support of process and policy initiatives designed to improve speed, quality, overall efficiency, and create a more competitive credit and post approval process for Business Banking. Responsible for (or participant with respect to) development and implementation of ongoing improved methods of post approval processes, procedures, and delivery methods.
