A Client Technology Integration Manager is required within the Client Technology Management (CTM) team to manage client-facing connectivity/integration projects. The role requires the provision of technology support and ownership during the sales and Onboarding process as well as support for existing clients.  The role requires the individual to represent the face of J.P. Morgan technology to our clients and work with clients and prospects to understand their business needs.  Internally, the individual will be required to work with an extended cross-functional team including technology, product, Implementation and Solutions , client service, and middle office teams to design and deliver appropriate technology solutions to address client requirements.   The individual would be accountable for ensuring that the solutions delivered to the client meet their expectations and are consistent with our own strategic goals. The individual will be required to have a good understanding of the Investor Services business and the technology that underpins delivery across the organization.
 
This particular role will be focused primarily on the solution and integration of new clients as part of the Onboarding process and providing support for client inbound and outbound Testing. This would include SWIFT, flat file/xml file testing and Annual SWIFT Standards release. The role includes agreeing and executing on test plans with key stakeholders (internal and external), executing on the test plan and ensuring any impending deadlines are met with all the necessary testing sign offs in place/
 
The Client Technology Management group also has responsibility for delivering on Investor Services/ Custody and Fund Services Technology strategic programmes. This may include legacy system take down, client facing application upgrades etc. This role will require engagement on such larger initiatives from time to time as required.
 
Responsibilities include:
  • Monitor and communicate status of client technology projects to the business and clients
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of primary client job functions, major challenges and client's strategic business and technology plans
  • Enforce rigorous test practices and risk control strategies to ensure a quality client deliverable
  • Facilitate timely project delivery by driving managing and closing issues promptly
  • Identify technical support resources within the firm to provide production support, resolve issues, develop solutions and staff relevant projects
  • Maintain Technology roadmaps for an assigned technology area and assume the role of single team contact point for the identified area
  • Analyze the total impact on JPM business, operations, and technology when making or facilitating decisions.  Consider the client's goals and requirements and align solutions with the overall business and IT strategy when scoping and planning a project/program
  • Present to existing, new and prospective clients, representing Investor Services Technology. This will include individual client meetings as well as delivery as part of a broader team. Client presentations will include demonstrations of the J.P. Morgan online capabilities on J.P. Morgan Markets.

 

Qualifications
  • University degree in related technical/business areas or equivalent work experience
  • Knowledge of the Investment Management industry with Custody, Accounting and Securities services products
  • Understanding of Project Management methodologies and tools
  • Strong knowledge of applicable business areas, the supporting technology architecture, and underlying  processes
  • Understanding of developing test plans, and methodologies
  • Strong knowledge of relevant applications and of development life cycles
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills (the role requires considerable external client interaction)
  • Knowledge of business and technology trends
  • General knowledge of professional services vendors, and outsourcing business models and tools
  • Experience overseeing geographically distributed and culturally diverse work-groups
