The position
 
Service designers design the end-to-end journey of a service. This helps a user complete their goal and the business deliver a business objective.  Their work may involve the creation of, or change to processes, products and content across both digital and offline channels provided by different parts of the business.
Your contribution at JPM
  • With a bagful of activities at-the-ready backed-up by a deep knowledge of design thinking, you will be able to engage teams and run workshops that bring the user to the centre, defining an optimum service experience
  • The artefacts you product will include Service Design Blueprints, illustrated Journey maps, and concept designs for the creation and evolution of products and processes.
  • You will be able to plan, conduct, report-on, and advocate for a variety of research methodologies.
  • Exploring service Metrics with the Head of Deign, you will also partner with technologists and product on the feasibility and implementation of these, leading Service Quality review sessions with senior business leaders.

  • Significant User Experience, Product design or Service Design experience.
  • Hands-on experience of designing for a variety of digital touch-points and non-digital channels.
  • A passion for Customer Experience Design and its centrality to the future success of large organisations.
  • A strong speaker and presenter, at either conferences or academic institutions.
  • Strong project and people management skills. Must be able to function as a project leader as well as an individual contributor.
  • Proficiency with design and prototyping tools such as AdobeCC, Sketch, InVision, Pixate, and Framer
  • Knowledge of capabilities and limitations of Web technologies such as HTML, JavaScript, Flash, and CSS
  • Excellent communication and organization skills
  • Master’s Degree in Human-Computer Interaction or a related design or behavioural science discipline.
  • A passion for creating products that resonate emotionally with people
