Job Description & Person Profile

 

Position Title:
Associate in Finance team of private equity real estate Fund in India.
Location: Mumbai
Role Purpose: The incumbent will be responsible for fund level financial/operating activities of the Real Estate Funds in India. He will also be responsible for managing activities of a wholly owned Indian SPV in India.
 
Key Accountabilities
Performance Measures
 
Fund level activities – review quarterly financials, cash flow management, co-ordination with Fund administrators, leverage and  management fees calculations, dashboard preparation etc.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
High accuracy levels &
Timely Submissions
 
 
Should co-ordinate with auditors for statutory/internal audit to ensure timely audit completion.
 
In-depth knowledge of accounting, taxation (direct and indirect), finalization of accounts, preparation of MIS and cash flow
 
Processing payments and routine work relating to fund activities.
 
Cater to various internal / external Fund/ SPV level requests on an ongoing basis.
 
Monitoring of Indian SPV investments
 
Managing/Operating of wholly owned Indian SPV – accounting, taxation, corporate compliance etc.
 
Experience of working in challenging environment and high level of computer proficiency is required.

Chartered Accountant
Any other job related skills required e.g. software programs, Excel
Proficiency in Excel, work, PowerPoint
Years of experience
4- 6 years
Type of Experience :
  • Should have experience of working in a Finance function. Working in private equity industry/real estate/construction industry experience would be added advantage.
