Operations Analyst I - Tester

The Credit Bureau Operations Testing team will be responsible for standardizing User Acceptance Testing across all consumer lines of business, maintaining procedures, insuring the proper testing controls are in place and conducting all testing associated with changes that impact NCRA furnishing. 
 
This Operations Analyst I will be responsible for Card UAT testing associated with bureaus furnishing functionality.      
 
Responsibilities:
  • Analyze business requirements and functional documents to create detailed test plans.
  • Create test cases/scripts in ALM based on BRD, Impact Matrix and/or functional specifications.
  • Write and execute queries in the DWH to retrieve data needed for testing and validation.
  • Participate in Business requirement, Impact Matrix and functional reviews.
  • Lead Test Plan and Test Scenario reviews.
  • Work on Multiple projects at the same time through completion.
  • Create test execution reports to be shared with Management.
  • Report and track defects in ALM.
  • Lead daily activities related to test strategy, test plan, test scenarios, and test data development and test execution and validation.
  • Communicate regularly with project stakeholders and provide consistent follow up on the status of issues.
  • Actively participate and conduct project status meetings when required.
  • Perform test results reviews for approval and sign off.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 2+ years experience financial industry experience
  • 1+ years in Credit Bureau Reporting, Credit Bureau Furnishing or similar discipline of data identification and management preferred 
  • 1+ year experience UAT testing
  • Proficiency in using ALM
  • Proficiency in writing and executing test plans.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong decision making, analytical, and creative thinking skills
  • High level of professionalism, self-motivation, and sense of urgency
  • Teamwork and communication (written and verbal) skills required
  • Strong organizational, project management and multi-tasking skills with demonstrated ability to manage expectations and deliver results 
  • C3 knowledge a plus
  • System of Record a plus
