The Legal Entity Controller is responsible for ensuring the integrity of the financial results and to manage the Capital of the legal entities in the location and ensuring business booking in the legal entities complies with the applicable regulatory requirements. LEC reports to the SFO in the location.
 
Key Roles & Responsibilities
  • Accountable for delivery regulatory reports related to Capital Management.
  • Accountable for delivery regulatory reports related to Market Risk Report and others in accordance with regulatory agenda.
  • Ensure the rule is correctly applied for Capital reports, such as FX exposure.
  • Ensure the completeness of the basis for FX exposure daily process.
  • Ensure that business booking in the legal entities complies with the applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Manage the external relationships with regulators and auditors, working where appropriate with Compliance.
  • Ensure the optimal use of the Legal Entities, influence LE structure, agenda and strategy.
  • Ensure adequate capital management and financial ratios of the legal entities.
  • Analyze legal entity implications of new business developments and changes in the regulatory framework.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of the capital planning and the adequate adherence to regulatory requirements, working closely with Business Controllers and other LOBs.

  • Accounting and Banking products knowledge;
  • Well-organized to work with deadlines;
  • Strong analytical skills;
  • Ability to function in a time sensitive role with strict deadlines;
  • Detail oriented;
  • Good verbal and written communication skills to enable effective interaction with client groups;
  • Ability to understand system flows, procedures etc;
  • Product and business knowledge to support local businesses;
  • Ability to work in a diverse and multicultural environment, to work alone and in a team structure;
  • Proactive attitude and learning interest.
 
Qualifications
  • Bachelor degree in Business Administration, engineer, accounting, math or economy.
  • Knowledge on Market risk is desired.
  • Knowledge on SAP is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Excel, word and PowerPoint (advanced).
  • Fluid in English.
