LECs are responsible for the integrity of the financial statements, regulatory financial and management of financial reporting associated with the J.P. Morgan legal entities. Corporate reporting team is part of LEC team and responsible for USGAAP financial analysis and regulatory reporting.
Responsibilities include:
  • Corporate reporting:
    • Lead analysis and improvements over corporate financials including variance analysis, intercompany controls, unnatural balances, LE by LOB management reports, etc ;
    • Coordinate Mumbai’s hub team to ensure accuracy and alignment with LEC objectives;
    • Review regulatory reports prepared by Mumbai’s hub team and prepare support documentation/analysis for LEC attestations.
  • Management:
    • Manage the analyst allocated to corporate reporting team;
  • Others:
    • Maintain sound controls/processes on legal matters;
    • Prepare LEC metrics by collecting information from other members of the team;
    • Analysis over local vs corporate GAAP differences.

 

 

  • Solid accounting background;
  • Strong communication skills (Fluency in English is mandatory);
  • Ability to analyze financial reports;
  • Good understanding on banking products;
  • The ideal candidate shall be well organized and have the ability to handle multiple timelines.
