Corporate Global technology Infrastructure team in Luxembourg recruits a Tech Ops Technican

JPMorgan Luxembourg is looking for one engineer to re-enforce the Global Technology Infrastructure (GTI) team. GTI supports the IT infrastructure including (Data Centres Operations, Desktops (and automation of desktops solutions), Server, Voice and Desktop Application environment) being used by local/remote JPMorgan employees and external clients. As a key member of the local GTI team support team, you will be responsible for supporting various technologies such as Microsoft Wintel desktops/VDI terminals, servers, Linux, MS Office products, Good BYOD and UC services, VMWare/Virtual Desktop, SCCM, responding promptly to user requests and problems., Veritas NetBackup and NetApp/EMC VNX/ICP Filer environments. Delivering best practices under the following expectations:
 
  • You will maintain relationships with colleagues in location and hub locations
  • You will interact with local users and JPMorgan core teams
  • You will provide desktop support to the user community - responsible for ensuring all user issues & queries are dealt with on a timely basis (mostly in English)
  • You will perform daily/weekly/monthly housekeeping maintenance health checks and verify backups
  • You will help implement, maintain and support the varied IT infrastructure.
  • You will participate to the maintenance housekeeping tasks – this involves occasional weekend work.
  • You will provide on-call support on a rota basis.
  • You will document and maintain the integrity of support procedures.
  • You will monitor systems utilisation & performance and be in charge of capacity planning.
  • You will resolve routine operational problems and seeks advice in resolving systems error conditions and reports deviations or malfunctions to management.
  • You will be expected to adhere to the strict JPMorgan Change Management procedures within the environment.
  • You will be responsible for technology Hardware and Software inventory
  • You will coordinate the roll-out of user application
  • Experience of working in a financial\regulated environment
Any of the following will be an advantage:
 
  • IT Graduate (minimum Bac +4) – experience in the ITIL framework for best practice in IT Service Management is an asset
  • Very strong & broad technical IT skills (covering desktop support, voice and server infrastructure)
  • Very strong to adhere to corporate standards and follow strict procedures
  • Governance/Oversight/Control mindset is key
  • ITIL and MSCE (or equivalent) certification
  • Windows 2012/2016 Server certification is an advantage
  • Good knowledge and trouble shooting skills to include Active Directory 2008, NTFS file permissions, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, Microsoft Office Suite (2010/2016), Microsoft Operating Systems (Win 7/10).
  • Knowledge of Citrix XenApp 6.5 and remote access technologies (RSA)
  • Video Conferencing Meeting room support - TANDBERG AV, Video/Audio, CISCO TP
  • VMWare/Virtual Desktop
  • DNS/DHCP/WINS/TCPIP concepts
  • Lenovo/HP/Dell Server Hardware
  • Linux certified
  • Good knowledge in MS SCCM
  • Good understanding and experience in using the tools specific to regulatory requirements (DLP\DI\Bromium\SPLUNK)
  • Understanding of the DR process and be able to deliver DR solutions for desktops.
  • Powershell scripting skills is a strong asset
  • Experience in managing the Voice solutions (AVAYA\NICE VR\CISCO Call Manager \ CISCO UCCX), Cisco Jabber.
  • Experience with the UC solutions support (mobile TPs, MS Lync \ SFB)
  • Knowledge in Sharepoint and the Sharepoint users support experience.
  • Good knowledge of the BYOD solutions, Blackberry in particular, Phone, Mobile, Blackberry, Apple IPads, Apple IPhones Laptop
  • Clouding skills
  • Vormetrix encryption
  • SAN certified (JPMC ICP Virtual SAN is an advantage)
  • Ability to multi-task and work under pressure – including strong flexibility
  • Ability to work under pressure and deal with demanding customers.
  • Analytic mindset, ability to solve the problems and troubleshoot issues, work with desktop engineering teams on the solutions.
  • Ability to learn & utilise new concepts quickly.
  • Good documentation and reporting skills.
  • You have good English communication skills, team-playing attitude, interpersonal skills, autonomy
