This group is also focused on developing and delivering cutting edged mobile applications, digital experiences and next generation banking technology solutions to better serve our clients and customers.

 
The focus for this role is on Technology Controls, Risk, and, Cyber in support of our Chief Technology Officers, the Application Development Managers and their applications teams.  You would be working in partnership with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) within our team, and, the Information Risk Management (IRM) Technology Controls Officers (TCO).
 
Responsibilities:
  • Work with Subject Matter Experts and the Application Development Teams to build, track, and manage access to the production and development mainframe environments
  • Document standard operating procedures and review access rules to ensure that security standards are being followed
  • Develop a good understanding of the activities required to execute application support functions
  • Follow all guidelines and controls for the relevant processes to ensure compliance and quality
  • Undertake specific functions within the relevant production management process as identified for the specific production management area
  • Participate in regular meetings with stakeholders, prepare and document meetings, track progress
  • Collect, interpret and respond to changes in production data, as appropriate.
  • Track the implementation of resolution tasks
  • Provide regular and reliable reporting of relevant data to meet management requirements
  • Understand thoroughly the end to end application support process and escalation procedures, become fully conversant with all support tools that will be used to provide effective support in the relevant area (i.e. service operations)
  • Maintain an end to end view of the application and infrastructure landscape.
  • Provide feedback and communicates results to stakeholders
  • Provide input and contribute to Application Support Manager/Lead related audits.
  • Engage with other service management groups to understand business requirements
  • Perform review of specifications
  • Collect, analyze and produce metrics on process data for KPIs to determine improvements
  • Identify risks and issues related to the area
  • Provide governance to ensure appropriate planning and reporting
  • Bachelors degree - preferably Information Technology or equivalent work experience
  • 1- 3 years of experience in a technology, OR, risk/compliance/controls role
  • Experience with mainframe security and access controls including ACF2
  • Good communication skills
