Job Description: Process Engineer
 
The Process Engineering Associate (PEA) will support the End to End Process Redesign Workstream lead in multiple facets. The PEA will be primarily responsible for assisting the team with developing a robust library of process maps surrounding the client onboarding experience. This information will be used to identify opportunities for improvement and developing pragmatic solutions. The PEA will provide critical analysis and expertise that will feed the strategic agenda for CB’s next generation client experience, and help drive tactical initiatives to execute on the project vision.
 
Core Responsibilities:
  • Develop process maps in various formats (Visio, IGrafx, etc.)
  • Migrate and enhance existing process maps into the Business Process Management (BPM) tool iGrafx
  • Participate and conduct end-to-end process mapping of onboarding processes using relevant tools and techniques
  • Assist in analyzing issues and problems and suggest solutions when identifying gaps
  • Provide expertise in process effectiveness, identify best practices, and suggest opportunities for CB
  • Synthesize information from multiple stakeholders/departments and synthesize findings
  • Analyze process related data and provide insights into pain points and improvement opportunities
  • Participate in workshops with SMEs from various functions within the bank
 
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree required Strong expertise in process mapping and design, preferably in Financial services
  • Results-orientation - takes initiative to identify areas to add value and executes quickly and accurately
  • Demonstrated drive to achieve results, and meet deadlines and deliverables
  • Fast learner able to operate in an ambiguous environment Passion for customer experience and continuous improvement mindset
  • Enthusiasm for business and eagerness to work on any task that will add value
  • Strong work ethic Strong communication skills and attention to detail Proficiency with Visio
 
Preferred Qualifications:
Six Sigma / Lean certification Knowledge of Design oriented thinking PowerPoint and Excel Modeling skills
