The Corporate Investment Bank (CIB) Campus Recruiting team, in partnership with the business, is responsible for the recruitment of Analysts and Associates into Sales, Trading & Research, CIB Risk, Investment Banking, Treasury Services, Investor Services Sales and Quantitative Research.
 
We are looking for a new recruiter to cover our continental European recruiting for Investment Banking and London-based Asset Management.
 
The role will also be based in London.
 
Key Responsibilities
 
  • Work with the CIB ex. Markets Team Lead and Head of CIB Campus Recruiting to drive & deliver Banking attraction & selection strategies in EMEA
  • Collaborate on managing candidate pipelines and the selection processes for full-time and summer Analysts in London and Local Offices
  • Own recruiting for the Local Offices across the EMEA region (ex.UK), including but not limited to Paris, Madrid, Milan, Frankfurt, Moscow and Zurich, reporting directly to the CIB ex. Markets Team Lead
  • Continue to ensure we are being consistent in our approach throughout the EMEA region, identifying and showing flexibility to any necessary regional differences or nuances. Utmost importance to be placed on compliance and regulatory-related processes, to ensure a robust and fair selection process for every location
  • Own recruiting for Asset Management until January 2019 (maternity cover), reporting directly to EMEA Co-Head of Campus Recruiting
  • Manage attraction activities and representation for AM across the region
  • Manage the Asset Management Coordinator in their responsibilities for organising the selection process and its assessment centres
  • Own the business relationships, giving regular updates and training as required
  • Give regular updates to the AM HR Business Partner team and ensure they feel included and aware of our activity for their business relationships
  • Lead school team activities for allocated schools and regions
  • Represent the Firm on campus
  • Manage one and a half direct reports (1 x Asset Management Coordinator, ½ x Banking Coordinator)
  • Develop, manage and grow the relationships with school teams and career services at your target school and for your target region, to facilitate the recruiting process and to enhance recruiting strategies
  • Ensure diversity is imbedded into attraction & selection for target schools and for the Banking business
  • Partner with marketing, L&D and programme teams for recruiting activities
  • Partner with Banking Recruitment Manager on the organisation, delivery and management of the Summer internship programmes and Spring Week
  • Organise and run events (both educational initiatives and social) for the Summer intern class
  • Client relationship & stakeholder management
  • Assist Banking Recruitment Manager with hiring target collation process for the Local Offices
  • Collaborate with other CIB and Infrastructure Recruiters, as well as global teams, to ensure consistency & sharing of best practice across campus
  • Help manage and advise the Banking Coordinators
Skills/ Competencies:
  • Business or recruiting experience required, preferably in Financial Services
  • Additional European language preferred
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and to multitask
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proven relationship management skills across all levels and within the team
  • Strong presentation skills in large and small group settings
  • Drive and enthusiasm, which engages those involved in recruiting
  • Sense of urgency
  • Interest in Financial Services and the investment banking industry
  • Assessment / interviewing skills
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and application/hiring data analysis
  • Good level of proficiency with PowerPoint
  • Some experience of management (i.e. of a coordinator)
