The Consumer Banking Specialist is responsible for providing timely resolutions to our Consumer and Community Banking customer’s queries.  They will connect with our customers through inbound/outbound calls regarding transactions on their accounts such as payments, loans, charges/fees, interest rates, rewards and other issues."

First Line of Defense (FLOD) Testing Organization – The FLOD Testing team is responsible for identifying and escalating control issues in the branch network through testing of adherence to operational policies and procedures.  This group consists of approximately 100 employees and is part of the Consumer Administration Office (CAO) organization.
In this highly visible First Line of Defense role, our team develops and executes testing, including reviews of all branches annually and review of account documentation and digital video recordings.  We are accountable for the strategy and delivery of test results to ensure issues are identified timely.  Additionally, we provide recommendations and lead the development of solutions to address identified issues.
  • Knowledge of branch banking operations, risk and controls is required
  • Must be very detailed oriented with strong problem solving, analytical and organizational skill
  • Possess the ability to set priorities and work with limited direction to achieve desired goals and results
  • Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Must be comfortable working as a remote employee
  • Flexible in nature with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and changing team environment
  • Must have effective PC skills, experience using Outlook, MS Excel, MS PPT, MS Word and SharePoint
  • Previous work history with Audit, Risk, or a control function a plus
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively and confidently with the personality to challenge requests and the status quo.
  • Strong understanding of internal control concepts with demonstrated superior analytical skills, combined with an understanding of operational risk management practices.
  • Demonstrated strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Attention to detail with the ability to multi-task and work well in a fast paced organization.
  • 2-3+ years of overall experience with a strong background in controls, analytics, and data analytics.
