We expect to significantly advance capabilities for our clients and employees over the next several years as these initiatives transform our business process and introduce technology enhancements. The CB Navigator Platform Lead is a critical role to deliver these capabilities.

Candidates for this role must demonstrate a proven history of establishing platform architecture and govern standards in a large and complex organization. This individual must possess excellent analytical and communication skills with the ability to reach senior business management as well as technical audiences. Maximize leverage by identifying shared services, overlapping capabilities and convergence to standards in order to improve efficiency and quality, and reduce time to value. The preferred candidate will have detail orientation, a broad background in application development and architecture, be able to work independently to solve complex problems, and still be technical yet possess the soft skills work with a variety of partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understand and communicate Commercial Bank business drivers
  • Understand and communicate firm wide platform strategy and roadmap to all Commercial Bank technologies both at the executive and engineer level
  • Provide hands-on platform engineering leadership to all main areas of deliverables including;
    • Cloud-native micro-services based architecture
    • Scalable technology frameworks
    • Leverage best-in-class industry solutions
    • Solution accelerators for faster development for all functional feature teams
    • Integrated end to end testing and quality management framework and environment
    • Integrated deployment environment and governance
  • Collaborate with Chief Information Architect, Chief Development Officer, Chief Application Architect, and Chief Security Architect to develop platform architecture design pattern and technology standards
  • Provide technical guidance for application teams building systems to implement established platform standards
  • Ensure alignment between Risk and Control functions to address corporate and LOB policies and standards
  • Minimum 10+ years technology experience
  • Minimum 10+ years security architecture experience
  • Experience with SDLC methodologies like Agile, Scrum, Kaban, etc
  • Experience in end to end security tools and architecture including authentication, single sign on, directory services, access control and entitlement, encryption, and auditing
  • Ability to function in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and tight deadline
  • Strong interpersonal skills to interact with customers, senior level personnel, subordinates, and team member
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a global team
  • Ability to influence senior executive stakeholders to take action / facilitate buy-in of recommendations
  • Ability to work with a team of SMEs to assess needs, understand requirements, and syndicate solutions
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills to interact with clients, senior executives, team members and peers
  • Experience in financial services industry preferred
  • Experience with TOGAF is preferred
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; MBA or advanced degree preferred
