Global responsibility for the execution of the Business Control Oversight (BCO) agenda in EMEA as the EMEA BCO with direct report to US Global GTLP BCO,  providing operational risk support and governance over the end to end control environment for the various Global Trade and Loan products’ activities including maintenance & substantiation of FORCE Risk Control Self Assessments (RCSA”), supporting Global Trade & Loan Products Business Control Oversight team (GT & LP BCO) review of control processes and exceptions.
As  team member of the Global GTLP BCO, as First Line of Defense,  you   would be responsible for ensuring collaboration among the Business control  functional partners  in EMEA  (Global & Regional  OCM, TCO,  Compliance, Legal, Audit,  etc.) to maintain a comprehensive robust control environment  within EMEA in alignment with GTLP global and from a GT& LP LoB perspective.   Global  BCO drives a culture within Global Trade & Loan Products  of personal ownership for the business control environment and rapid escalation of any identified issues and provides value-added solutions to improve risk management practices. 
Responsible for risk and control gap identification, mitigation and remediation for Global Trade & Loan Product business within EMEA.
Assist in process design, procedures, monitoring and reporting to effectively address risk management requirements in Trade  & Loan Products  Business
Analyze  Global Trade & Loan Products business processes to identify control points and areas of remediation.  
Support the Global BCO in overall Global  Trade & Loan Products Risk Control Self Assessment  (RSCA) governance globally
Create power point presentations for management review based upon analysis and report output based upon consent order articles and other analysis resulting from that work. 
Provide the Governance of  EMEA Regional  monthly GT & LP Business Control Forum (BCF) meetings, as required
Support the GT & LP Business Modification Committee (BMC) initiative and meetings, as required
Facilitate product end to end reviews as required
Support  business (NTNO)  globally   in preparation activities for internal audits, regulatory  & compliance test and exams
Ensure  Trade’s adherence to and compliance with the User Tools,  Third Party Vendor  (TPO) & Model policies and procedures within the region
Oversee GTLP BCO SharePoint site including access administration and recertification
Liaison and coordination with the other EMEA Banking Regional BCOs, GTLP Regional BCOs, EMEA OCMs and Global BCOs within GTLP and CIB Banking
Liaison and coordination with the Senior Global  Trade Product Team in EMEA to institutionalize special projects
Liaison and coordination with the Banking BCO teams to institutionalize Banking  projects within GTLP
Support GTLP BCO team in annual  Inherent Risk & Residual Risk control substantiation globally and per guidance from CIB & Banking  Controls Office.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work different geographies and cross functional partners
  • Strong analytic skills/aptitude
  • Process Management skills/aptitude
  • Global Trade & Loan Product  knowledge a plus
  • Strong operating risk and controls experience  a plus
  • Strong PowerPoint / PitchPro and Excel skills, required
  • Ability to successfully lead collaborative efforts and work with partners with different backgrounds, skill sets, and priorities
  • Ability to anticipate control gaps and aggressively drive initiatives to timely closure
  • Excellent verbal, communication, influencing and negotiation skills  
  • Understanding of FORCE RCSA system a plus
