Reporting to the Head of Marketing, Hong Kong & China Funds, the Marketing Manager will be responsible for the development and implementation of the marketing strategy for the responsible business channels/segments in Hong Kong / China that will cover brand building, event planning and management, product marketing, marketing campaigns and communications across offline and digital channels. The role will also be engaged to support selected regional marketing initiatives as and when needed.



Major Responsibilities

  • Develop marketing strategy and implement against Hong Kong / China business priorities, with consideration of the competitive landscape and market/channel development trends

  • Plan, manage and execute marketing events, campaigns and thought leadership programs, across offline and digital channels

  • Conduct research and competitive analysis to understand client insights and identify relevant opportunities to achieve marketing objectives

  • Manage and develop metrics/KPIs to facilitate analysis and evaluate marketing effectiveness against plans and budgets for marketing initiatives for continuous improvement

  • Collaborate with other specialist groups in Marketing, business and other functions to integrate global/regional initiatives with local priorities

  • Oversight of the development of marketing collaterals to ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements and internal procedure and guidelines

  • Plan and manage marketing budget to achieve greater impact and efficiency


  • Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or a related degree is preferred

  • At least 8 years’ experience in all-rounded marketing in financial industry, with team management experience a plus

  • Strong marketing skills across strategies and channels

  • Good understanding of the investment or the mutual funds industry across Hong Kong and China

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Chinese/Mandarin

  • Ability to think strategically while strong in execution and dealing with details

  • Ability to interact, influence and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization and across Lines of Businesses

  • High level of independence, energy and integrity; Responsible and accountable; Respect for diversity of opinions and styles; Flexible in approach

  • Strong sense of governance to ensure compliance with regulatory and internal requirements

  • Ability to multi-task, work in a demanding, fast paced environment, and handle multiple, competing priorities and projects with quality output at one time

  • Ability to adapt quickly and shift priorities based on unexpected business demands

  • Non-industry profiles will be considered for sounded marketing knowledge and experience from leading brands and/or marketing organisations
