JPMorgan Chase Health and Wellness Centers are onsite ambulatory clinics located within 29 of our US corporate campuses. Employees may visit for a variety of services which include urgent/emergent care, travel health consultation, biometric screening, health coaching and health education. By demonstrating excellent assessment skills, extensive clinical knowledge, and an understanding of professional, community, and corporate resources,  JPMC Corporate Health Nurses help employees better understand their health needs, make informed decisions, and take the appropriate actions. Through the delivery of professional nursing care, JPMC nurses have the opportunity to develop trusted relationships with employees as well as other key stakeholders in the firm including Health Services personnel, business managers, human resources colleagues, area physicians, and local hospitals.
 
  • Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the medical unit: staff scheduling, budget monitoring, assisting with recruiting, hiring and retaining talented staff, project management such as new HS build outs and clinic launches, office and inventory management.)
  • Provide / supplement staff in initial assessment, direct care, treatment and follow up of work-related health events using established protocols and procedures
  • Perform/ supplement staff in health screenings, health assessments and provide health-related counseling
  • Ensure the confidentiality of health information
  • Conduct workplace assessments and exposure follow up
  • Plan and implement health promotion strategies for both group and individual health education
  • Serve as a liaison to area physicians and hospitals
  • Make referrals to the employee assistance programs
  • Maintain OSHA compliance
  • Leverage client needs with business needs
  • Serves as a mentor to new  nurses
  • Assists RM with internal /external compliance (audits/ metrics)
  • Assist the other Region Managers with coordinating daily operations of the specific region in the absence of that regions manager

 

Qualifications:

  • Current license to practice as a registered nurse in the State of Employment

  • Current license to practice as a registered nurse in the state(s) of employment and practice
  • BLS certified
  • Minimum ten years nursing experience of which 5 years are in emergency room nursing, critical care, occupational health, urgent care or ambulatory clinic with 3-5 years in health management
  • BSN and or certification in occupational health nursing or ambulatory care preferred
  • Knowledge of case management, workers’ compensation, and governmental regulations
  • Ability to make independent nursing judgments
  • Demonstrate critical thinking skills
  • Phlebotomy and EKG skills
  • Ability to communicate clearly orally, verbally and in written form
  • Computer proficient
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred
