Commercial Banking- International Banking - Business Management - VP

This role reports directly to the International Banking CFO, who  works with International Banking Lead team to define and implement a 3 year business strategy, driving targeted profitable business growth and creating products, geography and segment targets.  The Business Manager will manage core business functions for Commercial Bank International and participate in strategic projects led by the Strategy Executive. 
 
 As Business Manager, you will drive the CB International business management agenda and provide decision support on a variety of strategic projects. The Business Manager will spearhead building out a more robust reporting infrastructure and associated management disciplines.   
 
Key Activities
  • Aggressively drive the business management agenda and implement robust management disciplines 
  • Manage the development and rollout of the business metrics and reporting
  • Liaise with Real Estate partners to manage CB International location strategy and space management
  • Partner with members of the CB International team globally and other key individuals in the Commercial Bank to manage and drive priorities and key initiatives
  • Drive and organize the agenda key meetings; organize and participate in periodic offsite meetings used to drive strategy decisions
  • Represent the Strategy Executive in appropriate internal meetings as necessary
  • Help identify priorities and key issues facing the team, create processes to address and track progress to resolution
  • Parse complex tasks and juggle priorities in a highly dynamic, global, team environment
Required Experience
8-10+ years of business management or equivalent experience with progressively greater responsibility in one or more of the areas of direct client management, business administration, middle management, operations, middle office, compliance, technology and program/project management. 
 
Required Skills and Education
  • Deep business management skills and well developed decision making skills
  •  Ability to prioritize deliverables, build strong partnerships and influence change
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite, with primary emphasis on PowerPoint, Excel & Access
  • Analytical, communication and organization skills
  • Superior collaboration, teamwork and diplomacy skills
  • Ability to manage multiple complex work streams simultaneously
  • Knowledge of internal banking policies and external regulations
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent required, M.B.A preferred International Banking Strategy Executive
