Global Security and Investigations (GS&I) protects the firm's employees and assets throughout the world. This responsibility includes the development of security and safety policies and procedures, regulatory and legislative compliance, Security guard management and alarm response, crisis management, ATM, branch and corporate building security and customer safety, physical crime investigations, workplace violence, fire and life safety, executive protection, due diligence, pre-employment screening, security operations on a global basis, fraud Investigations and cyber security.
 
 
The GWS team lead position is a direct report to a GWS Manager of Global Workforce Screening Administration.  Under limited supervision, this role will be responsible for lending support to day-to-day management and support of the Global Workforce Screening team. The team’s responsibility is to determine access and/or work eligibility for employees and new hires to ensure compliance with certain U.S. and regional laws and JPMC policies through conducting screenings.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Manage & execute Quality Assurance program
  • Support offshore team through training and identifying additional tasks for offshore efforts
  • Identify process improvements and implement process changes as necessary
  • Manage daily communication with key stakeholders and internal/external partners
  • Understand, manage and execute on JPMC standards, policies and guidelines related to Contingent Workers and/or Rescreening
  • Document overall process as it relates to Contingent Workers and/or rescreening
  • Process transactions as it related to the Contingent Workers and/or Rescreening process
  • 3-5 years work experience in an operations environment
  • Ability to identify risk and implement controls
  • Ability to lead training sessions
  • Demonstrate management skills & partnership building
  • Strong communication  & written skills
  • Ability to handle multiple projects
  • Strong interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills
  • Intermediate to advanced technical skills MS Excel & Power Point (e.g. Pivot Tables, V-Lookup) required
  • Must be able to maintain a high degree of confidentiality
  • Proven ability to quickly master complete understanding of processes and procedures internal and external
