In addition to its proprietary ChaseNet and Chase Pay solutions, Merchant Services provides fraud and data security for the payments needs of both large and small companies alike while processing payments in more than 130 currencies.

 

As announced on October 17, 2017, Merchant Services has agreed to purchase WePay, a leading integrated payments startup. This role, the Merchant Services Commercialization Lead for WePay, will be responsible for seamlessly distributing WePay's solution into the bank's multiple sales channels while simultaneously enabling WePay to operate independently at the firm's high standards. The role is an exciting opportunity to establish how JPMC will leverage this new FinTech acquisition!

 

The Merchant Services Commercialization Lead for WePay will require a client-focused mindset and have regular management exposure. The role will work closely with teams across several functional areas such as Product, Marketing, Sales, Operations, and Technology and as a result require a mix of product marketing skills and technical mastery.

  • Excels at synthesizing complex issues into executive level presentations
  • Knows when to push forward independently vs. escalate for assistance
  • Prioritizes effectively and communicates when deadlines cannot be met
  • 5+ years of work experience in payments, FinTech, or management consulting

  • Bachelor's degree required, recent Masters / MBA preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Sound business and financial judgement
  • Strong project management skills
  • Based in San Francisco
