CCB Risk
Chase Consumer & Community Banking (CCB) serves consumers and small businesses with a broad range of financial services, including personal banking, small business banking and lending, mortgages, credit cards, payments, auto finance and investment advice. Consumer & Community Banking Risk Management partners with each CCB sub-line of business to identify, assess, prioritize and remediate risk. Types of risk that occur in consumer businesses include fraud, reputation, operational, credit, market and regulatory, among others
 
This posting is for a Junior Risk Data Associate within the Risk Data Management Team in Business Banking (BB) Risk. The team reports ultimately to the Chief Risk Officer and is tasked with managing the health of BB Risk data, providing data & reporting on BB Credit Risk to various downstream consumers including BB/CCB Risk, Finance, Analytics Teams, Internal Audit and External Regulators. The team is also responsible for managing data flows between Wholesale and CCB platforms, running reconciliation processes/reports and investigating any data quality issues, partnering with various IT teams to problem solve and solution issues.
 
The Business Banking Risk Data Analyst will organize, plan, and direct Concept, Requirements, & Analysis phase deliverables for small sized projects. Their responsibilities will include documenting high-level business requirements as a result of process analysis and business interviewing activities, conducting research and impact analysis, root cause analysis, and performs AS-Is process mapping related to the assigned project. The role will be involved in driving data solutions to address current gaps with data warehouse technology team, reporting teams, and analytics teams.
 
The ideal candidate will have a love of data analysis and be strong in SQL and is self-motivated, be detail oriented with decent organizational skills. This opportunity will be ideal for those looking to gain a broad understanding of Business Banking, how data is used to manage Credit Risk from Wholesale platforms to CCB. The candidate will be responsible with working with the Wholesale Lead in team, identifying solutions, driving clean-up, and if necessary identifying compensating controls whilst shepherding any IT related enhancement requests through the demand management process.

 
  • BA/BS degree
  • 3 plus years of related business experience
  • Understanding of the development life cycle including design, planning, development, testing, implementation
  • Strong knowledge of standard project delivery framework
  • SQL
  • Skilled in written and verbal communication
  • Ability to be flexible, follow tight deadlines, organize and prioritize work for self and others
