The CIB Transformation group has been established to support execution of the CIB Tech business, ensuring it operates effectively and efficiently against its commitments, enable change to our existing business delivering key strategic cross-CIB change programmes and working across CIB to transform the business into its target state operation.
The Technology Regulatory Portfolio LoB Test Lead is a key role reporting to the Regulatory Portfolio Test Manager for the Regulatory Portfolio of work within CIB Technology Transformation. The role will be responsible for the refinement, coordination and execution of end to end testing across a specific LoB within complex regulatory programmes requiring coordination of test teams across the LoB. The Regulatory Portfolio currently includes MIFID II, BREXIT, and GDPR.
The candidate will have a proven multi-year track record in testing strategy, governance and execution within complex, multi-asset programmes via a disciplined approach. The role is based in Bournemouth, UK.
Ensure that the technology test strategy for the program is imbedded within the LoB to support the overall program delivery. This should provide the framework within the LoB for Test scope, phases, planning, preparation, execution, environments, data and defect management. Where possible providing risk mitigation and left shifting test execution.
Responsible for ensuring governance of test plans for the LoB aligned to test strategy, traceable back to requirements and aligned to implementation plans. Individual component teams are expected to remain accountable for test planning, preparation and execution within their LoB and to feed into central plans / governance
Defined and execute best in class testing governance, within the LoB, aligned to overall programme
Coordinate the set-up and oversight of testing across the LOBs in line with the Regulatory Portfolio Test strategy. Work closely with the leads and testers within the LOB to ensure the complete test strategy is executed and there is processes and execution of test reporting, defect management and associated metrics
Responsible, within the LoB, for ensuring governance and oversight of test execution, defect management, reporting and escalation to meet overall plan objectives (Individual component teams are expected to plan, prepare and execute testing and feed into governance)
Partner with the other LoB Test Leads to manage cross stream dependencies, risks and issues, test cycles and data governance
Effective LoB stakeholder management to ensure rapid issue resolution and escalation.
Mid to Senior level experience level testing experience within complex, multi-workstream programmes in global financial institutions.
Mid to Senior level experience and proven track record in partnership (enabling a ‘one team’ culture and positive working environment) and complex test execution across multiple locations and workstreams
Mid to Senior level experience in test strategy, automation and execution.
