The Corporate Technology (CT) organization develops applications and provides technology support for corporate functions across JPMorgan Chase, including Global Finance, Corporate Treasury, Risk Management, Human Resources, Compliance, Legal, and all functions within the Corporate Administrative Office (CAO).
CT teams are aligned with corporate partners’ evolving technology needs and the firm’s ever expanding technology controls agenda.
A top CT priority is building scalable corporate systems.
Teams focus on:
  • Responding to the evolving regulatory environment and helping to meet the firm’s regulatory commitments by addressing internal and external commitments
  • Advancing the firm’s Roadmap programs -- Single Sourcing of data, Architecture Convergence, and Rationalization of Platforms
  • Adopting industry leading technologies to support best-in-class business capabilities for high performance computing and data storage solutions
  • Driving innovation across the firm’s corporate technology portfolio, increasing efficiencies through process automation, and Agile application development, with an emphasis on user experience and shorter development cycles
  • Investing in security & controls for cyber, access/entitlements uplift, data protection and application resiliency

As a Business Analyst Lead you will be responsible to:
  • Serve as the liaison between the business client, development team, and the vendor. 
  • Lead strategic planning/requirements sessions geared towards defining the roadmap and the end to end solutions.
  • Evaluate business processes, systems based analysis to define the technology solutions.
  • Work with appropriate parties to understand business priorities, and advise business on options, risks, and costs associated with requested efforts.
  • Work closely with our internal clients and external vendors to identify, assess, and document functional requirements.
  • Analyze impact of proposed solution, develop use cases to explain/demonstrate business requirements/specifications to IT team, and contribute a business or process perspective during design reviews.
  • Assist the Quality Assurance team to ensure that requirements documentation can be easily translated into test plans, and ensure that the proper testing plans have been completed.
  • Facilitate implementation of new functionality through training sessions, demos, and the development of appropriate documentation.
  • Work with test team to develop system integration test scripts and ensure the testing results correspond to the business expectations.
  • Minimum 10 years of Business Analysis experience.
  • Agile experience required.
  • Proven experience with SDLC of custom development applications.
  • Experience working in Compliance and Regulatory environment including risk assessments, and testing & monitoring strongly preferred.
  • Outstanding analytical, problem solving, and writing skills to include experience in writing functional and technical specifications and use cases. Ability to review and analyze minimum technical issues
  • Ability to understand complex business processes and experience developing detailed, technical documentation (e.g., business requirements, process flows and use cases)
  • Strong experience/understanding of business process re-engineering and business modeling concepts (BPMN, iGrafx a plus).
  • Strong analytical skills and writing skills, to include solid experience in writing functional specifications and use cases.
  • Proficient in knowledge of business applications and word processing and flow charting tools
  • Ability to develop strong client and working relationships with the team is a must.
  • Ability to be flexible, follow tight deadlines, organize and prioritize work.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication (verbal, written and PowerPoint).
