Commercial Banking International Deposit Pricing & Analytics Specialist, Sr. Associate
Commercial Banking’s (CB) Deposit Pricing & Analytics (DP&A) team is globally responsible for the management of JPMorgan’s Commercial Banking liquidity portfolio and the deposit and investment products that support the portfolio.
The DP&A function broadly focuses on the management of  client and portfolio deposit pricing,  profitability and returns, presentation of complex liquidity deals and investment management expertise to clients and bankers, identification of emerging client requirements, management of segment initiatives and regular portfolio reviews with key stakeholders to drive financial results. 
Commercial Banking delivers the complete product offering of JPMorgan Chase, including lending, treasury services, investment banking and investment management to corporations, municipalities, financial institutions, and not-for-profit entities with annual revenues generally ranging from $20 million to $2 billion.
The International Deposit Analytics Specialist will report to the Head of CB Deposit Analytics and will support international deposit pricing strategy and analysis efforts in EMEA, APAC, and Canada.   This role will align with the U.S. Deposit Pricing & Analytics team, Commercial Banking’s International Banking group, CB TS Liquidity Product Management, CB Treasury, and with the Corporate and Investment Bank (CIB) Liquidity Product Management team as needed. 
Roles & Responsibilities:
Deposit Portfolio Management and Strategy:
  • Review product pricing within the EMEA, Canada and APAC deposit portfolio, manage exception requests and work with Commercial Bank regional management to recommend pricing strategies and changes within the EMEA, Canada and APAC regions.  Partner with EMEA Revenue Management to review changes within a holistic context.
  • Manage the rate structure associated with all deposit products, currencies and countries within EMEA, Canada, and APAC to ensure consistency and simplicity leading to a superior client experience.
  • Manage the implementation of rate changes across all segments and products.  Develop a full understanding of the processes and technologies supporting the application of rates to client deposits.  Develop relationships with operational and technological teams supporting the process.
  • Lead periodic market review meetings to review segment financials, market environment, competition and client dynamics.  
Reporting and Analytics:
  • Coordinate with CB Finance / Treasury and partner with India support team on development and running of reporting
  • Perform profitability scenario analysis using registered user tools for complex deposits, cash concentration and notional pooling solutions for new and existing clients.
  • Partner with CB Liquidity EMEA Product Specialist to perform periodic reviews of pooling portfolios to ensure that the solution continues to meet client needs and expected performance
  • Develop cadence of value-added reporting & analytics for International portfolio
Cross functional partnership:
  • Coordinate with CIB Liquidity Product on best practices across the portfolio
  • Serves as back-up to CB EMEA Liquidity Product Specialist during periods of overflow or staff absences.
Overall skill sets and requirements include:
  • Minimum 4 - 6+ years experience in investments and/or transactional banking products or finance
  • Proven relationship management, finance, or corporate treasury experience
  • Banking knowledge, including knowledge of Treasury and Short-term investments businesses
  • Strong strategic, communication and presentation skills - specifically, strong PowerPoint skills and ability to present complex topics in concise and cogent written presentations
  • Financial analysis and critical thinking skills
  • Works well with cross-functional partners and in a matrix environment.
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple deliverables simultaneously in a fast-pace environment
