As a Chase Wealth Management (CWM) Annuity/529 Project Manager you will drive structure and discipline around each initiative using standard project deliverables and framework, including establishing scope and perform detailed business impact analysis in support of management decisions.  Additionally, you will define roles and responsibilities, establish and document requirements, resolve resource/scheduling conflicts, escalate and ensure issues/decisions are resolved, manage changes to project scope, document and complete testing requirements, create and manage implementation plans, lead/participate in meetings at the operational and project level. You will provide continuous feedback on project status and issues and serve as the overall escalation point to ensure the project tracks to original expectations.

 

  • Responsible for providing operational support and project leadership including the analysis and execution of assigned projects for Chase Wealth Management/Insurance & 529 Operations. Lead and participate in projects related to annuity, 529, insurance and offshore investment contracts to support business needs including the analysis, recommendation, and implementation of accepted solutions.
  • Provide leadership and coaching to other project managers and business analysts in the group; conduct project reviews, resource analysis, status tracking and reporting, escalation support, training, etc.
  • Lead EZ Forms and Workflow Management System (WMS) change projects including requirements gathering and writing, developing and executing test plans, creating implementation deployment plan and validation activity at time of deployment to production
  • Manage and lead projects related to new carrier onboarding, new products, product maintenance, regulatory changes, risk/controls, process and technology enhancements, and other initiatives related to annuity, insurance, offshore investment contracts, and 529 plans operations.  Includes all aspects of project management:  scope, requirements, testing and implementation, change control process.  Ensure defect-free implementation.
  • Responsible for creation and development of project plans, coordinating project status calls, delivery of periodic project status, including tracking all tasks to completion and escalation and resolution of issues or risks to the project delivery.
  • Identify, analyze and document business requirements, test cases and test plans and conduct testing for process and/or technology enhancements.
  • Act as project liaison between insurance/Off-shore Investment Contract (OIC) carrier or 529 fund company and Annuity Operations relative to carrier product or technology changes.
  • Lead calls as needed with annuity carriers and/or fund companies to review project scope, requirements, status and implementation, etc.
  • Coordinate fixed annuity rate change process including communication, EZ Forms change and quality control
  • Coordinate completion of project/change overview or training/reference documents shared with operations, annuity service center and other areas
  • Requires communication with senior management
  • Coordinate updates to forms, procedures, reference or training materials   
  • Provide support for system access administration and business continuity testing
  • Requires some evening and/or weekend hours for system implementations
  • May require occasional travel for project related meetings, new carrier onboarding, carrier due diligence meetings, etc. 
  • Requires 5-7 years business / financial experience
  • Requires Project management experience
  • Prefer experience in insurance, annuity, and/or 529 plans.
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong time management skills
  • Ability to effectively handle multiple concurrent assignments
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Project.
  • Bachelors' Degree Preferred
