The Fiduciary Managed Controls Development team is looking for pro-active hands on technologists to join their Jersey City team. The Fiduciary Managed Controls team develops and supports the Fiduciary Controls and Risk teams with their main focus on risk and oversight. The team leverages Java Open Source and Big Data technologies to provide the technology solutions to the business.

 

As an Applications Developer, you will participate in all facets of the development cycle for the Fiduciary Managed Controls software team. This includes design, analysis, development, coding, testing and documentation. You will partner closely with business partners and the broader Managed Controls technology team. You will ensure your work products adhere to coding, architectural, and security standards as defined throughout Wealth Management. A successful candidate must have relevant Java and web development experience.

 

Pure Agile and continuous deployment to production as individual JIRAs complete.    The team is a globally dispersed team and shall engage the business proactively proposing and demoing solutions.  Everyone develops at all levels of the organization from directors down.  Flat organization without hierarchical constraints.

 

We are located in a brand new hi-tech space designed like a west coast campus -- lots of natural light, open floor plan, ergonomic chairs, high ceilings, raised wide dual monitors, lots of glass, huddle rooms, quiet room, can write on every wall.  Espresso machines, TV, and game room.

Required Qualifications

·         Strong Java & J2EE experience

·         Experience with web technology (Angular, REACT, etc.)

·         In depth knowledge of Java, J2EE, Struts, Spring, Hibernate, SQL, HTML, XML, Javascript, Ajax

·         J2EE & OO Design Patterns Application server configuration, proxy and clustering, load-balancing and performance tuning

·         Hands-On experience/ competent knowledge of JBoss Drools or jBPM is desirable

·         Hands-On experience with Apache and Tomcat

·         Hands on experience with Oracle/SQL

·         System and business architecture experience with business process modeling techniques

·         Strong written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills

·         Strong analytical skills
