An Endowments and Foundations Group Middle Office (EFGMO) Officer in J.P. Morgan’s Global Trust Support Services (GTSS) is integral to servicing endowments and foundations clients, auditor, and investors.  General responsibilities include providing service support for client audit requests and other activities.
  • Provide day to day overall product/service support related to client audits.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, auditors and investors and internal support teams to provide a best in class experience for the affected parties.
  • Work with investor teams to ensure technical aspects of client activities are executed timely and accurately.
  • Analyze workflow and find solutions as needed to support and simplify complex client relationships.
  • Assist in documentation and resolution of various endowments and foundations initiatives and projects.
  • Monthly reporting and general support for the endowments and foundations investor teams.
A successful candidate must communicate with credibility and confidence, be risk focused, show professional concern for quality and detail of work, and have a strong commitment to successfully meeting deadlines and responsibilities. The individual will need to be proactive and action-oriented with strong analytical skills and a proven ability for problem solving.
  • An undergraduate degree or equivalent professional experience (endowments and foundations, fund accounting, investment specialist, client service).
  • Strong time management, leadership, strategic thinking, and risk management skills.
  • Understanding of risk and compliance while maintaining a pro-business mind-set.
  • Understanding of alternative assets and statement reporting.
  • Ability to take ownership and be accountable.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities, simultaneously.
  • Aptitude for analyzing issues and information accurately and demonstrating effective issue resolution and decision-making skills (fact based decisions).
  • Flexible with a “can do” approach.
  • Ability to work effectively with all lines of management.
  • Ability to partner with other business associates to develop process improvement strategies, integrate processes, and execute processes.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint).
