The Tax Planning team within JPMorgan Chase & Co’s Corporate Tax Department is looking for an analyst or associate level candidate to join our team of transfer pricing professionals.  The successful candidate will gain exposure to the entire life cycle of our global transfer pricing function, with a focus on transfer pricing planning and compliance.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                              

 

This role includes corporate tax and transfer pricing analysis, review and reporting, and the individual will become knowledgeable of compliance requirements in tax and transfer pricing related matters.  Responsibilities in the area include but are not limited to the following:

 
  • Assist in calculation, consolidation and documentation of book-tax differences including coordination of functional area submissions
  • Assistance with computation and documentation of quarterly tax provision
  • Assistance with preparation of consolidated and separate entity BTD schedule
  • Assistance with preparation of tax results for inclusion in various tax filings
  • Assistance with preparation of transfer pricing documentation and responses to audit requests
  • Assistance with compliance with various Firm control initiatives, including documenting and testing internal controls
  • Responsible for tracking various Transfer Pricing initiatives and deadlines.
  • Interacting with individuals across our global tax department and with key Corporate Finance and Line of Business personnel
 

  • The ideal candidate should have 1-3 years of accounting experience (tax specific background a plus).
  • Big 4 accounting firm experience is preferred.
  • A self-starter that pays attention to detail and possesses excellent communication and organizational skills.  
  • Ability to effectively use various programs such as Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Project Management skills
