 Job Purpose:


To establish, implement and monitor the process to convert incoming Postal mail from a physical to a digital format.


Digital Product Manager

The Digital Product Manager will oversee the physical to digital mail work queue.  This includes accepting physical USPS mail, opening, scanning, executing a digital image file, physical filing and retrieval activities.  This position will be responsible for the day-to-day management of various Digital Scanning projects and tasks, including; Quality Control, Key Reporting, Operational Metrics, Employee Development and Client Relationship.


The successful candidate will be a tech-savvy professional with in-depth understanding of how technology is applied to various applications and business goals.  This candidate should have excellent time management and communication skills to collaborate effectively with various teams and individuals at all levels within the organization.


The successful candidate must possess the skills and abilities to manage and deliver various projects digital lifecycle within quality, time and budget requirements


Team Functions

  • Maintain a 6s Environment
  • Prep documents for scanning, removing staples and paper clips, unfolding documents, straightening of documents in a file or batch
  • Verify files received in a box or mail tray
  • Identify original collateral documents prioritizing the work based on project schedules and priorities

Team Skills

  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to identify various product lines
  • Ability to prep files, scan files, store and retrieve files in an established scheduling timeline based on GBDS established SLA.
  • Knowledge or ability to perform basic functions using various GBDS Scanners
  • Ability to update operational logs with specific information
  • Ability to file accurately and retrieve quickly
  • Work closely with Technology team and Clients
  • Ability to meet all daily deadlines
  • Ability to stand and lift up to fifty pounds



  • Bachelors Degree (or) 5 years or more in a related field
  • Six Sigma or Lean Certification experience
  • Strong skills in Document Scanning and Indexing
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Keen attention to detail
