Global Market Infrastructures (GMI) is responsible for managing J.P. Morgan's network of subcustodians, other agent banks and financial market infrastructures for cash and securities services in over 100 markets. The core responsibilities of GMI include Network Management, Client Consultation and Information Management and Delivery. GMI focuses on understanding client needs and providing market information for the Corporate & Investment Bank (CIB) while also supporting other lines of business.
GMI is comprised of separate Network Client Consulting, Market and Infrastructure Management, Agent Performance Management, and Information Management and Delivery teams. The teams are located globally across Hong Kong, Singapore, Bournemouth (England), London and New York to provide 24 x 5 coverage of both clients and markets.
GMI provides value to both external and internal clients through the combination of market expertise, depth of client relationships and delivery of market information.
The Network Client Consulting team is currently recruiting for a Vice President in Hong Kong.
Network Client Consulting (“NCC”) provides direct support to external and internal clients of the Investor Services business which includes Global Custody, Collateral Management and Prime Finance. NCC works closely with top clients to understand their strategies and develops a customized network management service. NCC provides expertise for clients to better understand approximately 100 markets in terms of market entry, cash and FX, trading and settlement, income and corporate actions, with a particular focus on emerging and frontier markets.
In addition to working closely with clients, the individual will also work closely with Client Service, Sales and Relationship Management, Market and Infrastructure Management, Product Management, Product Development, Operations and sub-custodians to ensure seamless service delivery.
NCC is responsible for:
Client market consultation – delivering market expertise and information to external and internal Investor Services clients. Providing proactive consultation and building out the client relationship as necessary
Client perspective on market information – working within GMI and with other internal teams to obtain market information and understanding the impact to clients to deliver effective client solutions and relevant client information
Client training – developing and delivering client training about market practices and considerations for global investments
Client due diligence - responding to client requests about J.P. Morgan’s sub-custodian selection and monitoring processes
Sales engagement - supporting Sales teams with Network Management related questions and presentations in RFIs and RFPs
