The Global Liquidity & Account Services team is a key function within CIB Banking Technology and is responsible for the cash accounts for the International region (Demand Deposit Accounting), Global Liquidity and associated middleware, the teams are based in Bournemouth, Tampa, Mumbai and Bangalore.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish a strong link between pillar leads, business capability owners and strategic programmes
  • Build relationships between the strategic programmes group and external stakeholders such as F&BM, GTI and the governance and portfolio management organisations
  • Act as the escalation point where capacity conflicts exist or issues are identified and drive resolution plans
  • Agreement to and management of handoff points if required. Ensure all transitions occur smoothly and with a clear plan
  • Provide recommendation on whether programmes should be delivered centrally or by wider CTO group
  • Management of pipeline of work through partnership with the portfolio management group
  • Define incubation and quality assurance procedures and control points
  • Foster a culture of collaboration and information sharing for efficient execution
  • Manage relationships with program managers within strategic programs group, ensuring PMO and project support is provided in line with programs expectations
 Qualifications
  • Leader able to successfully operate across regions, business and functions with proven strong negotiation, influencing and relationship skills
  • Proven execution skills in Technology on high priority strategic programs, able to shape teams and respond to complex issues
  • Creativity and ability to challenge standard practices , ensuring every opportunity is considered to transform current state into a best practice
  • Candidate would ideally have deep knowledge of organization with strong understanding of the CIB technology organisation
  • Ability to articulate complex issues concisely and communicate effectively and comfortably with senior people
