Our Global Service Centers (GSCs) are strategically positioned in Mumbai, Bangalore and Hyderabad to support the firm’s operations regionally and globally. The centers provide comprehensive strategic support across technology and business operations processing to all lines of business and the corporate functions.
Global Technology Infrastructure (GTI) is the technology infrastructure organization for the firm, delivering a wide range of products and services, and partnering with all lines of business (LOB) to provide high quality service delivery, exceptional project execution, and financially disciplined approaches and processes in the most cost effective manner. The objective of GTI is to balance both business alignment and the centralized delivery of core products and services. GTI is designed to address the unique infrastructure needs of specific lines of business and the demand to leverage economies of scale across the firm.
The candidate will be a part of dedicated Global Technology Decommission Factory team that manages end to end application decommissions globally across technology business units. This team owns firm-wide decommission practice that will standardize and pro-actively manage decommission of technology assets for the various LOBs in close interaction with Group Technology Infrastructure.  The team consists of relationship management, pipeline management, business analysis, data mining/data discovery, execution of decomm, automation and reporting.
The position is based out in Hyderabad.
Key responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:
• Mine data sets and responsible for pipeline Management/Reporting
• Identify and create the procedures in handling upstream/downstream application dependencies
• Ability to source, analyse and present pipeline data end to end
• Identify opportunities
• Present status and exceptions to Governance Forum
• Measure performance from initial engagement through to final GTI disposal and flag need for intervention/escalation
• Create management dashboards for senior management reviews
• Partner with business analysts to create standard check-lists/standard operating procedures for execution team
• Take on ad-hoc tasks and working to tight deadlines

 

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience with 5+ years of data discovery in application development environment 

• Proficient in data discovery and visualization tools

• Good working knowledge of database management tools

• Good understanding of design principles behind a scalable application and developing distributed software

• Strong understanding of the agile software development life cycle

• Strong customer service and communication skills

• Strong team player and work well within a diverse, cross-functional team

• Good understanding of distributed computing technologies including server hardware, storage, network, database management and AIX/Linux/UNIX Operating Systems and virtual environment

• Large global Banking/Financial domain experience is an added advantage
