The Chief Development Office (CDO) within the Consumer and Community Banking (CCB) Chase line of business is looking for a Software Engineer Vice President to manage, coordinate and track our Tool Chain strategy as part of the Accelerating Development initiative. This position is located in Columbus, Ohio. The successful candidate’s primary responsibility will be drive adoption of key tools and processes that facilitate delivery automation across the entire CCB software development life cycle (SDLC). The Software Engineer Vice President will regularly present CCB tools requirements and implementation timelines to the Firmwide Chief Development Office (FCDO), Firmwide Tools Product Owners and Global Technology Infrastructure (GTI) engineers. The successful candidate will also coordinate design successful implementation plans with CCB CDO subject matter experts (SMEs) while representing the needs of the CCB software engineer development community. The successful candidate will also have experience in Agile Scrum best practices and continuous delivery automation.
This role would appeal to someone looking to step up and make a difference in the wider organization by helping to deliver on strategic goals with a significant $ impact. This role will require individuals willing to defend and negotiate CCB tools implementation schedules. The individual will require excellent communication and project management skills along with technical acumen when interfacing with firm wide tools implementation teams and end users.
