Our Global Service Centers (GSCs) are strategically positioned in Mumbai, Bangalore and Hyderabad to support the firm’s operations regionally and globally. The centers provide comprehensive strategic support across technology and business operations processing to all lines of business and the corporate functions.
The Technology team at our GSCs service all Lines of Business and Enterprise Technology in helping build and operate innovative industry leading solutions. The breadth of capabilities within the Technology team at the GSC enables it to support the firm in leading edge areas such as Digital, Big data analytics, Robotics & Machine Learning.
•Provide production and non-production environment support for Applications. This includes:
Perform deployment, installation, configuration, troubleshooting, maintenance and support of production and non-production environments.
Address user questions/concerns in a consistent manner.
Attend to incidents and resolve them in a timely manner.
Prepare and handle the standard patching cycles of servers.
•Monitoring of the environment, managing, tracking, and resolving incidents and escalations.
•Analyze production incidents and document in a consistent manner and provide updates to the leads.
•Performing RCAs for production incidents and preventing reoccurrences.
•Partner closely with Global Application Support team, Application Development, Testing teams, all data consumers, and other dependent support teams.
•Participate in on-call rotation for application support, including weekends and off-hours.
•Improve productivity, supportability and efficiency by automation of repeatable tasks using tools and scripting.
•Create and improve system documentation (Run books, FAQs).
•Participate in Disaster Recovery events and Major Event Changes.
•Performing a daily health check of intra-day/overnight system batch processes.
. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related technical field.
. 5-6 years of work experience in Applications Support / Infrastructure Support Environment.
. Work experience in Java based web applications.
. Work experience in PL/SQL in Oracle/MSSQL.
Technical Skills (Essential):
. Strong working knowledge in UNIX/Linux/Windows environments.
. Strong working knowledge Oracle & SQL Server databases.
. Experience in technologies such as Java/J2EE web applications.
. Reporting tool experience like cognos is a plus.
. Experience with system monitoring tools like Geneos, Nagios, Appd, Apica etc.
. Experience creating automation tools via scripting in both Linux as well as Windows environment
Soft Skills (Essential):
. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
. Excellent interpersonal skills and be able to quickly understand and retain knowledge of business processes and the technology systems.
. Ability to handle high pressure, complex environments.
. Build positive working relationships with external teams and managing their expectations.
. Strong analytical skills to solve complex issues.
. Ability to adapt to different technologies to analytically resolve issues.
