This position is part of the Consumer Bank CAO Business Analytics team. This is a critical role within the Consumer Bank CAO that provides in–depth reporting and data research to support decision making and implementation for key Consumer Bank First Line of Defense priorities.


Position Description:

As a member of the CAO Business Analytics team, the Data Analytics & Reporting Analyst II is responsible for reporting automation, data validation, and developing and improving datasets and analytical tools to support Consumer Bank CAO.  The role responsibilities include:

·         Develop, maintain and improve reporting tools used for First Line of Defense (FLOD)

·         Identify data quality issues and certify the accuracy of reporting resulting from managerial, regulatory, and ad hoc requests

·         Support senior management team and CAO project managers on First Line of Defense Testing decision making through data mining, analytics, scorecard reporting, and strategic planning

·         Make recommendations specific to the First Line of Defense testing and reporting data infrastructure and process

·         Organize data and effectively communicate high level results to management through data mining, analysis and reporting



Position Requirements:

·         Candidate must possess excellent analytical skills with 5+ years experience in analytics and/or reporting. 

·         Candidate must possess technical skills, with 5+ years experience with COGNOs, SAS, Business Objects, SQL or similar data tools.

·         Proven success at applying analytic methods to solve business problems, interpreting data and communicating analytical results to peers and management is required.

·         Passion for data accuracy is crucial

·         Experience developing and automating reporting processes preferred. 

·         Candidate should also have proven experience in a customer-focused role and building relationships with key internal customers
